John B. Holt, 24, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Topeka on unlawful possession of a fully automatic Colt AR-15. He was arrested Aug. 19 after police responded to a disturbance at Jayhawk Cafe in Lawrence where he allegedly warned others he possessed the weapon. The weapon was found in his vehicle with consent to search. The case involves federal and local charges and potential prison time up to 10 years and a $250,000 fine.
