One of three men who overpowered a jailer and escaped from Leavenworth County Jail last Christmas was captured Tuesday in Iowa. Spotted Eagle, 34, Native American from Lack Andes, Noorty, had escaped while serving a sentence for drunken driving. He was arrested driving a car stolen in Kansas City and is held at Sioux City federal jail. The trio fled scenes with another man and previously encountered authorities near Anis Gorski.
