Funeral services for Ardell Arthur Nathan of Lawrence will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Madison, Nebraska. Nathan, born May 28, 1933, died Jan. 11, 2011, served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a railroad clerk until 1994. survived by Charlita Facto Faderes and 25 others including three daughters and six sons. services precede a private gathering at the mortuary today and Friday.

KU Exceeds 2010 United Way Campaign Goal

Kansas University faculty, staff and students raised 299,359 in 2010 to support United Way of Douglas County.
