Waterworks board finds conditions satisfactory with minor repairs urged
City board of health inspected three aboveground reservoirs at the waterworks. They noted decayed plank walls and recommended brick and cement walls and bottom. Wells and engine house were deemed OK, sewerage directed to the river, and filtration handled before reaching the stand-tower. The board found no major complaint and will share half the cost of impurity testing.
