Graduation gaps mark Kansas district trends in 2012 data
Kansas class of 2012 shows 85 percent on time, but 76 percent for blacks and students on free or reduced price meals. Lawrence School Board to hear Terry McEwen report at 7 p.m. Monday on these disparities and related graduation metrics. A two day workshop Beyond Diversity is planned January 28-29. Additional agenda items include Sunset Hill renovations, middle school schematics, calendar revisions to end before Memorial Day 2015, and capital projects for 2014 with design agreements for extra classrooms.
