Session Opens as Kansas Legislature Convenes

The Kansas ninth biennial session opened at noon with Lt Gov W Y Morgan presiding. Republicans hold the house while Democrats control the senate. Officers were chosen, with Robert Stone named speaker in the House and Burt Crown as Democratic leader in the Senate. It has about thirty charter members and may join the National Rifle Club. Marvin’s Bust Funded By University Students
