Enrollment at Kansas University is higher than last year when the catalogue is issued. The pipe organ concert at the university Friday evening has attracted many ticket buyers. Numerous applicants seek post graduate work under Chancellor Low. The final 1898 Barteldes seed catalog edition reached the journal office. Charles Hicks, resident of north Lawrence, attempted self harm yesterday afternoon but was interrupted by Law McCane and local physicians. Aldermanic measures prevented serious harm.
