Officers investigated multiple gun related disturbances Monday and Tuesday in Lawrence Kansas. A 7 15 p m call on Iowa Street led to the arrest of a suspect for aggravated assault with a pistol during an outdoor dispute. Jer mel Fleming 25 of Grand view Missouri faces a felony charge of aggravated assault with a firearm in Douglas County. In a separate early Tuesday event a guest displayed a handgun and robbed a home on Apple Lane. no arrests were reported and no injuries occurred.

Shooting at Turner's sister's apartment ends in manslaughter charge
Franklin, a longtime family acquaintance, allegedly shot Turner during a gathering at Turner's sister's apartment while handling a handgun.
