The Cardinal 4-H Club will answer roll call with their middle name at 7 tonight in Lecompton City Hall. Cottonwood 4-H Club members will answer with a Kansas fact at India School at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Project talks will be given by Linda Kaiser, Jean Sawyer, Jami Riehm and Glenn Jehle. Ivan Jehle and Robert Kaiser families host. A Stull Extension Homemakers Unit luncheon and program on Entertainment occurred last Thursday at the United Methodist Church with Mrs. Dee Cox and Mrs. George Steele as hostesses and Steele as program reader. The all day meeting on Feb 1 will cover Scandinavian Breads.

UNICEF Card Sale Raises Funds for Children Worldwide
UNICEF sales raised 5969 this year with about 70 volunteers in Douglas County. Ann Moore chaired the effort to support children and mothers globally, marking a 4 percent rise from last year as over 2000 card boxes and 325 calendars were sold in ten years of fundraising.
