Library moves to former Borders building in lighthearted push
Lawrence Public Library begins a two week move to 700 New Hampshire Street with a “fun committee” to ease the stress of packing 225000 books. The staff hosts weekly events including a Downton Abbey viewing and a surprise guest at Friday lunch, while plans for more movie nights and bowling unfold.
