Soviet economic team aids Castro and Cuba plans
Havana reports say the Soviet Union dispatched an unannounced group of economic experts last November at Fidel Castro’s request to review Cuba’s three year plan. The mission aims to bolster economic projects as the Havana regime braces for a sign off on the 196? trade agreement and cites a four percent oil increase this year. The group notes Soviet concerns over private car gas rationing and high need for petroleum while Russia continues annual aid around four hundred million dollars in non military assistance.
