An armed masked bandit held up W. U. Jones of the Linge Maytag company on S02 Massachusetts street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, taking 45 in checks and cash. He forced Jones to drive to Kansas City, Kan., where the suspect entered Gradier Bros. plumbing shop and demanded money while a colleague urged hiding some funds.
