Carol Klemp Mangun dies at 95 in Lenexa Kansas City area
Carol Klemp Mangun died December 41 2024 at Lakeview Village Care Center Lenexa KS born November 29 1929 Leavenworth KS daughter of Henry and Viletta Klemp. She lived in Lawrence before Kansas City KS and graduated Wyandotte High School and attended UMKC where she played cello. She was an ordained Elder at First Presbyterian Church Kansas City KS and led various women’s groups. She enjoyed painting flowers decorating and sharing travelogues and collected cameos. She was married to Kermit for 62 years until his 2011 death. Survived by daughter Connie Sollars son Kendall Mangan two grandchildren four great grandchildren. Burial private. Memorials suggested to Lakeview Village Foundation or Ascend Hospice.
