They performed in Topeka last night. Lodging issues were resolved with 16 men to sleep in the Hotel Eldridge Grill room and eight others in regular hotels. The Chamber of Commerce arranged private-home housing for the rest. The program includes The Swan The Rodeo and The Danube Waltzes with the troupe's own orchestra.

Two Bridges Completed by Douglas County in 1942
In 1942 the Douglas County road and bridge department completed two bridges before material restrictions hit. WPA Liquidation to Save 100 Millions
