Freddie J. Sierra Jr., 41, was charged in Douglas County District Court with one felony count of sexual exploitation of a child. The alleged offense occurred between December 24 and January 1 during a performance involving explicit conduct by a person under 14. Topeka homicide: Lawrence man found dead in burning car
Arnulfo Garcia, 30, of Lawrence, was identified by Topeka police as the victim whose body was found in a burning vehicle near Southeast 15th Street and Southeast Hudson Boulevard. The Shawnee County coroner ruled Garcia’s death a homicide and arson investigators say the fire was set intentionally.
