Guilty verdicts seal Watergate trial for top aides
The jury found John N. Mitchell, H. R. Haldeman, John Ehrlichman and Robert Mardian guilty on most counts in the Watergate cover-up trial. Kenneth Parkinson was acquitted on all counts. The verdicts came after 11 weeks of deliberation in Washington Court.
