Substantial Clinton Progress Expected This Year
Col William Needham of the U S Army Corps predicts very substantial progress on Clinton Reservoir this year with List and Clark ConstructionCo expected to start dam and outlet works. A master plan for Clinton Lake development should be ready by March shaping public lands around the lake in Lawrence and Douglas County. The Mud Creek channelization could begin next spring or be postponed up to two years as environmental comments are finalized.
