Decline in Campus Building at KU in 1933
In 1933 the University of Kansas faced heavy funding cuts and completion of only a few projects. Snow Hall was dismantled, the old biology building removed, and a warehouse near the power building repurposed for museum exhibits. Finishing touches on the Union ballroom progressed, while a landscaping program planted over 500 trees and shrubs across campus.
