Lawrence area police report three separate accidents late Thursday and early today. Jack Martin of 1330 Brook St suffered cuts and bruises and a possible broken arm after his car skidded on ice four miles east of the city on Highway K260. His car rolled at least three times, and he was listed in good condition at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a fair night. A second crash at Schwarz Road and U.S. 40 involved Marcel West of Topeka and Leonard Warren of Overbrook. no injuries were reported and vehicle damages totaled 150 and 50 dollars respectively. A third accident four miles west of Lawrence on U.S. 24 involved Victor Pomeroy of Portland Ore. his car rolled over twice but he was not injured and damage was about 500 dollars.
