Icy Streets Tied to Majority of Local Vehicle Crashes

Four Held In Connection With Break In At Don's Speed Shop
Douglas County deputies detained four people in a burglary probe of Don Baxters Don's Speed Shop on U S 24 near Gardner. An 18 year old adult David Lewis Nelson of Gardner faces aiding burglary charges. Three 17 year old juveniles from Gardner and Edgerton were taken into custody. A window was broken to gain entry and officers stopped a car linked to the incident. Nelson awaits county court arraignment.
