Lawrence LINK feeds hungry homeless for 10th anniversary
In Lawrence the LINK program, run by 32 churches with local business support, serves 90 to 100 meals daily at First Christian Church basement. Volunteers say 18,901 meals were served last year on a budget of 14 thousand dollars. The all volunteer effort relies on community donations and broad church involvement.
