Refunds Ordered in Arborist Deception Case
An Ozawkie man, Jeremy Deshazo, agreed to refund more than 5400 dollars to two Lawrence residents for shoddy repairs after a microburst damages. He posed as owner of D and L Tree Co and claimed arborist certification while operating as a sole proprietor. A consent judgment requires 3708 dollars to one homeowner, 1750 dollars to another, plus a 500 dollar fine, with no admission of guilt.
