National FFA Week Opens With Alumni Plans In Lawrence
National FFA Week begins with a spotlight on area alumni who plan to form a Lawrence High School chapter of the Kansas Young Farmers Association. About 15 men ages 20 to 35 have shown interest and will attend a public meeting at 7 30 p m Thursday. The group aims to meet twice monthly and may partner with the high school FFA chapter for activities such as attending the American Royal.
