Two Kansas University freshmen women were struck by a car crossing at 12th and Oread. Mary Helen Parker of Oklahoma City received treatment for a sprained ankle and was released. Trendle Shellner of Kansas City suffered a hurt right hip and may be released Saturday. Ronald Eugene Gast was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian after the 7:40 a.m. incident. The prior KU injury accident occurred on Sept. 25, 1958.
