Glen Sherman Dies Former Lawrence Resident Buried in Kansas City

PRACTICE TOMORROW NIGHT FOR NEW LAWRENCE BAND
The Lawrence band plans a weekly practice tomorrow night in the Chamber of Commerce rooms. The group now numbers twenty eight active musicians with six to eight additional singers. After tonight a city hall practice site will be available. President Hugh Keller urged the City Commission to grant 50 dollars a month to support the band, a sum matching the old band’s subsidy, and the commission is considering the request.
