Wash florists push religious freedom bill at Kansas hearing
Barronelle Stutzman owner of Arlene's Flowers in Richland Washington told a Kansas House committee she faces a lawsuit for refusing to provide flowers for a same sex wedding and urged passage of a religious freedom measure. Equality Kansas called the briefing one sided as the debate over LGBT rights and same sex marriage grows with Kansas lawmakers recalling a 2014 religious freedom bill that failed in the Senate.
