Cardinal Brands to cease Topeka operations by 2008
Cardinal Brands plans to consolidate Topeka manufacturing with its Independence Missouri center, cutting about 60 local jobs and moving 65 Topeka positions to Mexico this summer. The new Kansas City area center should be established by end of March 2008, as remaining Topeka staff shrinks to roughly 15 engineers and IT personnel.
