GAO auditor testified that four Boston area distributors paid 40 472 to disc jockeys and station librarians from 1957 through 1959. Irregular bookkeeping at Music Suppliers and back and forth funds between Music Suppliers and Sam Clark were cited. Death of Samuel Hines Ruled Suicide in Missouri Town
The 73 year old Samuel Blanchard Hines of 901 Oak St died Monday afternoon in his pickup on his property north of his home. A 38 caliber revolver was found in his hand and the death was ruled a suicide. Despondent over ill health, Hines had worked as a maintenance man for the Underwood elevator the last five years after long service at the Bismarck feeding pens and operating the Golden Arrow. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Warren Chapel with Rev. W S Lima. burial Maple Grove Cemetery. Survivors include wife Blanche, daughter Mrs. Winifred Scott, stepson Namon D. Walker, sister Mrs. Mabel Scott, granddaughter Mrs. Janice Carper, and two great grandchildren. A brother, Archie, died last July.

Victim of Wreck Dies in Hospital
A 73 year old Kansas City Kansas man Joe Budy died Monday night at Lawrence Memorial Hospital from a skull fracture and brain injury suffered in a one car crash eight miles northeast of Lawrence. His wife Mrs Budy 72 suffered multiple injuries. Driver Fred Burkard was in fair condition with facial cuts and bruises. The crash near Leavenworth is not yet recorded as a traffic fatality this year.
