Two Business Buildings Destroyed in Pittsburg

Musical program unites three high schools in Lawrence
About 450 people attended a three-school festival of music at Lawrence High School auditorium. Lawrence Ottawa and Atchison high schools combined 510 students for the program, with 280 from LHS, 130 from Atchison and 100 from Ottawa. The event marks a shift from previous vis itation programs. Next year’s concert will be in Ottawa. A mixer-dance followed in LAS gym at 3 p.m. Friday with all three schools participating. the Serena ders LHS dance band provided music.
