Guns for Roses program yields gifts for turned-in guns in South Carolina
Police in two central South Carolina cities swapped weapons for roses and gift cards on Valentine’s Day. In Columbia, 191 guns were turned in and in Sumter 32. Handguns earned $100 gift cards, rifles and shotguns $50. One man turned in six handguns worth $600. Sumter’s total gift cards reached $2,650 for long and handguns.

Woman pleads guilty in pool death case
