Bombing arrests shake Nickerson High students
Three Nickerson students and one Hutchinson student face charges for a series of mailbox bombs that rattled windows from Sterling to Hutchinson starting in late January. Four years after gas explosions killed two people and destroyed two Hutchinson businesses, ONEOK crews drain underground Yaggy storage field. They will remove brine from seven water wells and 27 unused wells, then extract gas from 71 salt caverns to prevent cavern collapse. KDHE monitoring and tests will follow.
