Old Letter of Lincoln Sent to Lawrence Man
A letter by Abraham Lincoln dated just before his nomination was sent to Lawrence in December 1859 to Law rence L. Jones. Miss Barbara Isbell, a Kansas City native and KU alumna, is president elect of the American Society of Medical Technologists. She now lives in San Diego with her mother, previously resided at 322 N IT Kansas City. Isbell earned an KU AB in bacteriology in 1938 and held roles in student life and intramural athletics.
