In Topeka on February 1 AP reports a proposal to revise the constitution. Baker and other speakers argued for changes to legislative and judicial departments, including elected members and compensation, with emphasis on proportional representation and judiciary reforms.
Albuquerque February 11 A cowboy and two Navajo Indians were reported killed in a battle near the Tailian reservation at Bernalillo County Sheriff deputies from Sandoval and McKinley counties head to the scene. Officials say details are scarce with a possible motive linked to a dispute or confrontation.
Fragmented campus notes report The Dove back at Kansas University this morning amid discussions of library contents and student publications. Government testimony in the Daugherty Miller case faced objections as it attempted to introduce evidence regarding a Connwell physician and alleged destroyed records.

Federal court in New York hears that a 412 000 fee was charged for the transfer of 7 000 000 in impounded assets of the American Metal company. Thomas J Miller and Warr y M Dawherty face charges of defrauding the United States with aide from John J King and others. Richard Merlon testified the 441 000 fee went to King in 1924. Miller stayed at the Hotel McAlpin with Miller and a deputy during the alleged conspiracy period.
