Florida revenue director quits over probe of businessman
Florida revenue director Katie Tucker resigned amid allegations she abused power over a 1988 tax probe targeting a former political opponent of her husband. FDLE is investigating possible document tampering, while Tucker cites breast cancer and a desire to avoid further health risk and family strain. Deputy Larry Fuchs became interim director as a search committee seeks a replacement.
