Lecompton man Harry Fenton, about 30, gave himself up to Norman Oklahoma police after a forged check spree in Lawren ce and Lecompton. County Attorney Harry Frazee says Fenton cashed a $30 check at the Style shop and a $20 check at W A Yates, using former employer Paul Griffin’s name. He mailed a letter from Luther admitting the acts and seeking to return the money. A second degree forgery warrant was sworn, and officers will seek extradition from Norman.
