Haskell School Opens Term. Staff Changes Noted
The new term opened last Monday with excited pupils and few talkers. Mr Plaok becomes assistant principal and teaches the preparatory class while gymnasium work continues. Mrs Bartha Kemp Montgomery resigns as sixth grade teacher. Mr Montgomery and she are in Lawrence. Frances C Wenrich leaves the Normal program and returns to farming near Lecompton. Nellie Staten resigns as assistant watcher and marries Frank Roper in Miami. Jobo Morriss marries Sadie Walker in Miami same day. Two steady girls seek work with Mesdames FM and LA Perkins.
