Friends University officials rolled out Net Nanny to block objectionable content after pornographic images were emailed to faculty and students. The filter has disrupted legitimate research, with professors reporting arbitrary blocking of sites such as prostitution in Sweden and church stance resources. President Biff Green warned the system may not last if problems persist, as faculty noted research access is limited while students remain largely untroubled.
