Emergency jet crash rocks Teterboro during morning takeoff
A corporate Bombardier Challenger CL-600 skidded off a runway at Teterboro Airport and crashed across a six lane highway into a warehouse. About 20 people were hospitalized including 11 aboard the plane. a pilot suffered a broken leg and a car occupant was in critical condition. Firefighters sustained minor injuries. Kelso & Co. chartered the flight to Chicago. cause under investigation.

Nixon papers head to library
In Yorba Linda California the Nixon library will receive the presidents papers and tapes freeing funding access. A 2004 spending bill allows removal from Washington and transfers to a National Archives collection. By 2009 all records should move, making Nixon’s library like others in status and funding.
