Kansas University seniors Scott Russell and Charlie Gruber shattered school and Anschutz Pavilion marks at the Kansas Invitational. Russell threw 73 feet 8 inches in the 35-pound weight throw, while Gruber won the 1000 meters in 2:21.72, with both breaking KU and venue records.
