Gas as Best Fuel Supply Now Predicted by AGA Leader
Harry C. Abell of the American Gas Association told officials at a mid winter gas company meeting that a revolution in gas manufacturing is almost certain soon. He predicted oil use in industrial heating will dwindle under possible federal curtailment and that by ten years gas output will double, connecting about 20 million customers. He urged large investment, faster gas production, and rate adjustments to share costs fairly across consumers.
