Lawrence officers logged two thefts reported Friday. Wilbur Almquist of 1012 Emery Rd. said items valued at 800 dollars vanished from an apartment there on Jan. 12, including four drapes a dining set a dining table with six chairs two lamps and a cocktail table. Rich Lucas of the Delta Chi Fraternity at 1245 W Campus Rd. reported a 200 dollar bronze plaque stolen from the living room between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.

A one year old DeSoto boy identified as Doug Snowden was listed in fairly good condition at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after an auto crash on the Eudora flats three miles east of Lawrence on Highway 10. He sustained a fractured left arm and forehead lacerations. Further details were unavailable.
