Dr. J. Eugene Fox of Kansas University says a $125 typewriter was stolen Tuesday afternoon from his Snow Hall office, prompting KU police to investigate.

Kansas University will get 50000 from the Ford Foundation to aid engineering doctoral students who choose teaching careers.
