Lawrence man tied to 2006 robbery on probation arrest
A 61-year-old Lawrence man, Charles E. Smith, on three years’ probation for a 2006 convenience store robbery, was arrested Friday on a probation violation after a court appearance in a drug possession case. Man Arrested in Lawrence for Indecent Liberties
Lawrence police arrested a 46 year old man on two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Police spokeswoman Kim Murphree said officers were notified shortly after noon Thursday and the suspect was booked at the Investigations and Training Center at 4820 Bob Billings Parkway just before midnight.
