Gunman kills three Americans in Yemen attack at hospital
In Yemen, a gunman in white robes and a leather jacket breached a security checkpoint and opened fire during a hospital meeting led by director William E. Koehn. He fatally shot Koehn and two others, then wounded pharmacist Donald W. Caswell. The victims include Kathleen A. Gariety and Dr. Martha C. Myers. Authorities said the suspect, Kamel, planned the attack with Ali al Jarallah, and that a militant cell may target foreigners and dissidents. Up to eight more suspects remain sought by security forces.
