Inmate escapes Leavenworth County Jail
Raheem Keron Armstead a 29 year old black man 6 foot 3 and 190 pounds escaped from a Leavenworth County Jail work detail about 1 p.m. Saturday while emptying an outdoor trash bin. Armstead was wearing green and white striped jail clothes and tennis shoes. He was arrested June 26 on felony drug charges and held on drug and child support matters. Police suspected he might be driving a girlfriend s 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo. Call 911 or the sheriff at 913 682 5724 with any information.
