One Man Charged In Oklahoma Fight
Joe Shearer a 24 year old Ft Chaffee Ark soldier is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill in an Oklahoma shooting. He was treated for shotgun wounds at a Shattuck hospital where a guard stands watch. Victims Evelyn Spradlin 16 and John Vannata 40 were hospitalized. the gunfire followed Shearer calling the girl from a house party then attempting to force entry into the Spradlin home. He is the son of a local doctor and reportedly Americanized from Jose Saenz.
