Bus Crash In Salina Injures Six In New Year's Eve Incident
Six people were injured when an oil tank truck collided with a Santa Fe Trails bus three miles south of Salina Kansas on December 30. Two women Edith Jacobson of Oklahoma City and Mrs R C Carlisle of Salina were hospitalized with injuries. Driver H W McLaughlin of Hiawatha Kansas received medical care along with three other bus passengers. Sheriff C J Anderson said the crash occurred as McLaughlin tried to pass another oil truck and veered into the bus path.

El Dorado Kansas December 30 four people were injured in a head on collision of two cars eight miles south of the city in dense fog. Mrs A B Outright of Haviland sustained head and internal injuries and remained unconscious in a hospital. Mrs A J Woods of Haviland suffered fractures to both legs.
