Fire Chief Mark Bradford outlines Lawrence Douglas County Fire Medical ambulance charges. Basic transport without treatment costs 547 dollars while basic care with transport costs 643 dollars. Bradford notes monopoly on county ambulance service and out of county treatment rules at LMH. Deb Stanton of Med-Act says similar contract-based billing exists there.
