A liquefied petroleum gas radiant heater caused a fire that destroyed a dog kennel near Linwood. Damages were about 2000 dollars. The kennel on the Mrs Roland E Roney farm housed six to eight dogs and was saved from spreading by Linwood Fire Department and by responders at the scene.
