Preservation group approves demolition of Cielito Lindo building
Lawrence Historic Resources Commission unanimously backed demolition of the 815 New Hampshire St. property after a December fire that destroyed downtown restaurant Cielito Lindo since 2006. Fire officials have not released a cause, and owner Lawrence 2004 LLC has not filed a demolition request, though the commission said demolition would be appropriate if one is filed.
